Gaston Park was a baseball park located in Dallas, Texas. Named for landowner William H. Gaston, the ballpark existed within the State Fair grounds in the vicinity of Texas and Pacific rail tracks as well as the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas. [1] The field was also used for the Red River Rivalry in 1912 and 1914.
Until 1900, when the City of Dallas annexed East Dallas, the ground floor held the municipal offices, and the upper floors housed the school. In 1922, Baylor Hospital acquired the building. Fair grounds were originally located near what is now I-45 and Pacific Avenue. They were relocated to the area of Gaston and Hall Street in 1872.
