Archer is an American animated comedy series created by Adam Reed for the FX network. The first four seasons are set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS) and surround suave master spy Sterling Archer as he deals with global espionage; a domineering, late middle-aged mother/boss, Malory Archer; his ex-girlfriend, Agent Lana Kane; and accountant Cyril Figgis.
Archer is kidnapped and implanted with a mind control chip which malfunctions and causes him to try and kill Malory. Meanwhile, Lana tries to teach Cyril a lesson after Cyril cheats on her with several women (including with Cheryl) while Pam attempts to have sex with one of the co-workers.
Lana leaves A.J. in Archer's care and leaves for a 1 day seminar. After she leaves, Slater arrives at the apartment with a bullet wound and a Pakistani agent, named Farooq, needing a safe house. Farooq later forces Archer at gunpoint to drive him to the office to hack the mainframe with A.J. in tow and they arrive to find the team playing poker.
