The John N. and Mary L. (Rankin) Irwin House is a historic building located in Keokuk, Iowa, United States. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. [1] In 2002 it was included as a contributing property in The Park Place-Grand Avenue Residential District. [2]
St. John's was one of five founding parishes that established the Diocese of Iowa in 1853. It also established five Episcopalian missions in and around Keokuk. Keokuk National Cemetery was created in a separate, donated plot of Oakland Cemetery during the American Civil War as a place to inter veterans who died in the five military hospitals in the area.
