The Virginia–Highland Tour of Homes is an annual two-day event that happens each December in the Virginia–Highland neighborhood of Atlanta. During the event, houses around the neighborhood are open to visitors. The Virginia–Highland Civic Association organizes the event.
The Fair moved to its new location in 2009 at the Meadow Event Park in Caroline County. This multi-use space of 360 acres (1.5 km 2) includes a 75,000-square-foot (7,000 m 2) exposition hall, a 10,000-square-foot (930 m 2) multi-purpose pavilion, a horse-stall barn with 143 stalls, and an equine facility with four show rings, to accommodate local and regional horse shows and other equine events.
As of the census [87] of 2010, there were 2,321 people, making it the least populous county in Virginia. The county was the fifth least populous county east of the Mississippi River and the 115th least populous county in the entire United States. [88] There were 1,081 households and 721 families residing in the county.
The Southern Highland Craft Guild is headquartered at the Folk Art Center at milepost 382 [2] of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Asheville, North Carolina.The Folk Art Center also houses the Guild's century-old Allanstand Craft Shop, [3] three galleries of exhibitions, a research library, and a large auditorium.
