Rick Brant is a series of science-themed adventure and mystery novels following the eponymous character. There are 24 books, all credited to John Blaine, a pseudonym for Harold L. Goodwin and, for the first three books, co-author Peter J. Harkins.
The Crystal Shard (1988); Streams of Silver (1989); The Halfling's Gem (1990); In later years, these and other books featuring the character Drizzt Do'Urden have been rebranded as installments of The Legend of Drizzt, and such publications of the Icewind Dale Trilogy are identified on their covers as books IV, V, and VI of that series.
The series begins with Swallows and Amazons, published in 1930. The Walker children from London, staying at a lakeside farm in the school holidays, sail a dinghy named Swallow, while the local Blackett girls, living on the opposite shore, have one named Amazon. The Walkers see themselves as explorers, while the Blacketts declare themselves pirates.
The Adventure series is a collection of children's adventure novels by Willard Price. The original series, comprising 14 novels, was published between 1949 and 1980, and chronicles the adventures of teenagers Hal and Roger Hunt as they travel the world collecting exotic and dangerous animals.
