Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie (French: Miraculous, le film), also titled Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie in some territories, [5] [6] is a 2023 French animated musical romantic superhero film directed and co-written by Jeremy Zag.
Miraculous Corp. is a French IP holding and production company founded by Pierre-Antoine Capton and Jeremy Zag on May 13, 2024 to help control, manage and expand the Miraculous franchise. Their companies Mediawan and ZAG, Inc. hold a 60% and 40% stake in the company respectively.
Marinette Dupain-Cheng (voiced by Cristina Vee in the English dub, [1] [2] [3] and by Anouck Hautbois in the French version with singing voice in the film by Lou in both versions) is the female protagonist of the series and a French-Chinese 13/14-year-old student at Françoise Dupont High School (Collège Françoise Dupont).
The series takes place in modern-day Paris and revolves around the adventures of two teenagers, [17] [18] Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste. [19] When evil arises, they transform into their superhero personas, Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively, using magical jewels known as the "Miraculouses".
Adrien had been announced to appear in a Miraculous live action film, [106] [107] but the film was subsequently changed to an animated musical film, which was originally titled Ladybug & Cat Noir Awakening before being renamed to Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie. [108] [109]

Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie (Original Soundtrack) is the English version of the soundtrack. It was released on 28 July 2023 by 22D Music, with distribution handled by Lakeshore Records. The soundtrack release coincided with the Netflix release of the film in selected territories.
A man uses the Butterfly Miraculous and its kwami Nooroo, becoming Hawk Moth in order to get the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses and obtain absolute power. Master Fu is notified of this by the kwami of the Turtle Miraculous, Wayzz, and sets off to find new Miraculous holders, as he is 186 years old and couldn't fight himself.
