The campground is set in a beautiful forest and right on the river. There are quite a few trees, so larger rigs may have trouble navigating. We stayed in site 49, which was fairly deep. You have to use the Pinellas County's website which has a page for Fort DeSoto reservations. It's very important to note that Pinellas County residents are able to make reservations 7 months in advance whereas non-residents can begin making reservations 6 months out.
