Voice of America Persian News Network (VOA-PNN) is a governmental international broadcaster of the United States of America in Persian language. Its headquarters are in Washington D.C. It started to broadcast its programs on 18 October 1994 with a one-hour television program.
VOA Radiogram was an experimental Voice of America program that started in March 2013 and ended in June 2017, which transmitted digital text and images via shortwave radiograms. [ 109 ] [ 110 ] There were 220 editions of the program, transmitted each weekend from the Edward R. Murrow transmitting station.

Evening programs started at 7:00 pm with educational programming which was followed by imported syndicated shows such as Star Trek and The Donna Reed Show. A majority of the time was taken up by news in Amharic, English and French and to locally produced programming. [9] Regular in-school broadcasts were broadcast from 9:00-11:40 am.
