In 2022, Sisters of Charity at Leavenworth merged with and is now part of Intermountain Health. [1] Construction of the administration building began in 1899. Led by flour baron John K. Mullen, the people of Denver raised $10,000 for this building with a "gigantic city-wide bazaar," and a "monster" euchre (whist) party, planned by Margaret Brown.
It began as the Ralston Health Club, which published Edgerly's writings. It was a hierarchical organization where members were ranked according to the number of "degrees" they had, which ranged from 0 to 100. Members gained in the hierarchy by purchasing and studying Ralston's books, each of which taught five degrees.

Its west end is at Interstate 25 (I-25) and U.S. Route 285 (US 285) in Denver and its east end is at Quincy Avenue east of Aurora.

Swedish Medical Center was the first hospital in Colorado to use MRI and CT technology, as well as angiography.
