Michaela Conlin (born June 9, 1978) is an American actress. She played the role of Angela Montenegro on the Fox crime procedural comedy-drama Bones from 2005 to 2017. She has also had recurring roles in the Paramount series Yellowstone (2018-2019), and the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind (2021).

The idea of the episode was based on the real-life story of disc jockey Eduardo Sanchez, who was reported missing before his mummified body was found inside a wall of a popular night club in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The story of "DJ's mummified body found behind wall in club" was published by the National Post on December 7, 2003. [2]
Angela and Hodgins rekindle their love after spending some quality time together in a jail cell, and decide to get married. Heather Taffet aka the Gravedigger is put on trial for her crimes, and the team's strong case against her leads to a conviction where she is finally put away, but warns Brennan "that it's not over".
Michael tries to reconcile with Brennan, who ignores him. Booth apologizes to Brennan for breaching her privacy but states that it was necessary for their case. Seeing Brennan's sadness, Angela Montenegro tries to invite her for a drink but Brennan declines. Booth brings Brennan to another crime scene, where he apologizes to her again.
Back at the lab, Dr. Jack Hodgins examines the bear scat Brennan had sent to him and finds a flap of skin with a tattoo, which turns out to be a Haida Sun motif, when recreated by Angela Montenegro. From the tattoo, the sheriff is able to find the victim's identity via a missing persons check.
