Kim Jong-dae (Korean: 김종대; born September 21, 1992), better known by his stage name, Chen (Korean: 첸), is a South Korean singer and songwriter.He is a member of the South Korean boy band Exo, its subgroup Exo-M and its subunit Exo-CBX, and participated in SM's projects SM the Ballad.
Door is Chen's first EP since he and his Exo (and Exo-CBX) bandmates Xiumin and Baekhyun moved from SM Entertainment to the agency INB100. Chen stated that he "thought a lot about which songs to put in the album", and wanted to give fans "hope" with the lead single, "Empty".
Chen along with his Exo bandmates were confirmed to be part of the acts for SM Town Live 2023: SMCU Palace at Kwangya, marking the first time the single was performed live in a concert. [18] The songs on the EP were featured on the set list of the Chen Japan Tour 2023. [19]
