With Chaka and Koza presenting the defeated Crocodile as the rebellion's orchestrator, the fighting stops. It rains for three days. After that, Luffy wakes up and a banquet is given for the pirates. News arrives that a marine fleet is on their way to Alabasta. The Straw Hats decide to leave as fast as possible, leaving Vivi with a choice.
Like the rest of the series, it follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates. The first 18 episodes, dealing with Nefertari Vivi and the Straw Hats as they arrive in Alabasta to stop a civil war from happening, make up the Arabasta Jōriku (アラバスタ上陸, lit. "Arrival at Alabasta") arc.
Kin'emon and Denjiro would each lead a decoy group going around the castle. The Straw Hats stop by an enemy fortress just in front of Onigashima where the its torii gate is located. Franky attachrs the Thousand Sunny's anchor to the gate before the Straw Hats set foot onto the island.

Out of immediate danger, Vivi tells the Straw Hats that Mr. 0 (in charge of Baroque Works) plans to use the organization to overthrow her country and reveals his true identity: Sir Crocodile – like Mihawk, a member of the government-sanctioned Seven Warlords of the Sea pirate group. The Straw Hats agree to bring Vivi to Alabasta.
The Straw Hats storm the courthouse, where the remaining members of the Franky Family fight the three-headed judge Baskerville, and, aided by Yokozuna, block the building's entrance to cut off reinforcements. Above them, Luffy's Second Gear is put into action against Blueno, while his crew fight their way upstairs.
