The Cummins ISX diesel engine can be run in a dual fuel configuration, meaning it can properly operate on diesel fuel and natural gas. The burning of a natural gas alternative preserves diesel thermal efficiencies. The more efficient engine can produce less emissions in turn. The ISX can achieve this by altering ignition delay and injection timing.
The International DuraStar line, known as the 4000 series prior to 2008, is a line of medium-duty trucks produced by Navistar International from 2001 until 2018. [1] Introduced as the successor to the International 4000 series of 1989–2001, the 4000 series was renamed the DuraStar in 2008.

[1] For the 2005 model year, the 3300 was introduced as the replacement for the International 3800 (the final model of the long-running International S-Series).
In 2004, the International 3800 ended production, replaced by the International 3300 (a cowled-chassis version of the International 4300/DuraStar). In production for over 25 years, the S-series bus chassis was the longest-lived model line ever produced by International and the final Navistar product line developed by International Harvester.
The WorkStar is commonly custom-built, and has many different layouts. All models are available as 4x2, [a] the 7300-7500 have all-wheel drive 4x4 models. The 7400-7600 are available with both 6x4 and 6x6 tandems, and the 7600 can have an unusual 8x6 layout, with a three driven axle "tridem".

Introduced in 1996 as a chassis for the AmTran RE, the 3000 was the first rear-engine bus chassis produced in nearly 20 years.Aside from a few buses bodied by Corbeil in the late 1990s, this chassis has been used exclusively by AmTran and its Navistar corporate successor IC Bus.
