Dorothy Draper (November 22, 1889 – March 11, 1969) was an American interior decorator. Stylistically very anti-minimalist , she used bright, exuberant colors and large prints that encompassed whole walls.

John William Draper was born May 5, 1811, in St. Helens, Lancashire, England, [3] to John Christopher Draper, a Wesleyan clergyman, and Sarah (Ripley) Draper. He also had three sisters, Dorothy Catherine Draper (August 6, 1807 – December 10, 1901), [ 4 ] Elizabeth Johnson, and Sarah Ripley.
Born on 15 August 1967 in Chorley, Lancashire, Draper studied at Southlands High School until 1984. He then attended Runshaw College in Leyland and the University of Manchester.
