The Portland Farmers Market is a farmers market in Portland, Maine, U.S., which has been in continuous operation since 1768. [1] Since 1990, the market has been held place year-round. From May to November, it is held on Wednesdays in Monument Square and on Saturdays in Deering Oaks Park.

Deering Oaks Park is a 55-acre (22 ha) public park in Portland, Maine, which has a baseball diamond, tennis courts, a playground, and a pond. It is located west of downtown Portland and is bordered by Deering Avenue to the west, Forest Avenue to the east, Park Avenue to the south and Interstate 295 to the north.
The park hosts several local events, including summer concerts, Art in the Park, holiday tree lighting and ice skating in the winter. Other local parks include Wainwright Farm, which is a recreational facility and Hinckley Park which is a 40-acre (160,000 m 2 ) wooded area that has two ponds.

Fort Allen Park is an urban park in the Munjoy Hill neighborhood of Portland, Maine, United States.It covers 9 acres (3.6 ha) and abuts the Eastern Promenade to the south. It was built in the 1890s, designed by the city's chief engineer William Goodwin and backed by mayor James P. Baxter, according to a plaque in the park.
