The Grand Ledge school district was established in 1886. It comprises an area of 125 square miles (320 km 2 ) centered 10 miles (16 km) west of Lansing, Michigan's state capital. Within the school district are the City of Grand Ledge, the communities of Delta Mills , Mulliken , Wacousta and Eagle , as well as a large portion of Delta Township .
