Robert Wade King (June 20, 1906 – July 29, 1965) was an American athlete, who won a gold medal in the high jump at the 1928 Summer Olympics with a jump of 1.93 m. His personal best was 1.997 m, achieved earlier that year. After graduating from Stanford University, King studied in a medical school and later became a prominent obstetrician. [1]

Tupelo (/ ˈ t uː p ə l oʊ / TOO-pə-loh) is a city in and the county seat of Lee County, Mississippi, United States. Founded in 1860, [ 4 ] the population was 37,923 at the 2020 census . It is the 7th most populous city in Mississippi and is considered a commercial, industrial, and cultural hub of northern Mississippi .

The district straddles the Tennessee-Virginia border. The area was developed in the late 19th and early 20th centuries contains primarily two- and three-story masonry commercial buildings constructed from ca. 1890 to the early 1950s.
The route was extended to Riverdale Road and opened on December 22, 1995. [7] The portion from Riverdale Road to Houston Levee Road opened on December 29, 1997. [8] The extension to Byhalia Road opened in mid-October 1999. [9] The segment between Byhalia Road and US 72 was completed on November 21, 2000. [10]
