The University of Oklahoma University College is the college that new students are part of prior to their formal declaration of a major and matriculation into another specialized college within the university. The University College does not grant degrees, but allows incoming students to explore their options before selecting a major.

The Hudson College of Public Health is one of the seven colleges of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center--the health sciences branch of the University of Oklahoma. Established in 1967, it is the only college of public health accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health in the state of Oklahoma. [2]

The college includes two schools: the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering and the ConocoPhillips School of Geology and Geophysics, and the Oklahoma Geological Survey (a state agency mandated by the Oklahoma Constitution). The main offices for the college are located in Sarkeys Energy Center on the northeast corner of campus.
