The following is a list of Pennsylvania state high school football championships sanctioned by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) since 1988. [1] This list is organized by the six classes the schools are organized by: Class A (1A), Class AA (2A), Class AAA (3A), Class AAAA (4A), Class AAAAA (5A) and Class AAAAAA (6A).
This was the third time in four years that they went to the PIAA Class A Playoffs and the fourth time in school history that they won the championship. However, they were eliminated in the first round of states by Bishop O'Hara. In 2007, the Montgomery Red Raiders won the PIAA District IV Championship in Class A Baseball.
Two Bucks County area teams played in Thursday's PIAA state baseball quarterfinals. Conwell-Egan (District 12 champion) competed in 4A and Faith Christian (District One champ) in Class A.
