Sir Donald McCullin CBE (born 9 October 1935) is a British photojournalist, particularly recognised for his war photography and images of urban strife. His career, which began in 1959, has specialised in examining the underside of society, and his photographs have depicted the unemployed, downtrodden and impoverished.
It is notable stylistically for telling the story without commentary or moving images. The entire story is told with only still photographs and the voices of the photographers who took them. Contributors include Tim Page, Don McCullin, Nick Ut, Philip Jones Griffiths, Malcolm Browne, Eddie Adams, David Burnett and Wallace Terry
