St. Johns or Saint Johns [1] is the largest city and county seat of Clinton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. [4] The population was 7,698 at the 2020 census.. St. Johns is located in the north of Clinton County, surrounded by Bingham Township (although the two are administered independently).

The first post office opened with the name Huron, but soon closed. In 1860 a new post office was opened with the name Catville but changed its name to New Boston by 1868. Other early settlements included Belden, platted in 1857 by Frances J. Belden and now known as Willow, and Waltz, platted in 1872 by Joseph Waltz.
Naubinway (/ n ɒ ˈ b ɪ n ˈ w eɪ / NAH-bin-way) is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Mackinac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. [3] The population of the CDP was 147 at the 2020 census, which was the first year that it was recorded by the census. [2]
In 1865, Centerville was selected as the county seat. A post office named Tuscola Center was established on April 25, 1866. To address the confusion caused by the differing names, community leaders met in 1868, and at the suggestion of William E. Sherman selected the name Caro, based on a variant spelling of the Egyptian city of Cairo.
The community was first platted in 1836 by Jacob Doremus under the name Michigan Village. It was soon known as Delhi. In 1842, all unsold plots of land were bought by Norman Goodale, who founded the Delhi Mills company. Scio transferred its post office to Delhi Mills, and the post office operated from February 3, 1871 until September 30, 1903. [5]
