The United States National Historic Landmark (NHL) program is operated under the auspices of the National Park Service , and recognizes buildings, structures, districts, objects, and similar resources nationwide according to a list of criteria of national significance. Oregon (/ ˈ ɒr ɪ ɡ ən,-ɡ ɒ n / ⓘ ORR-ih-ghən, -gon) [7] [8] is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States. It is a part of the Western U.S., with the Columbia River delineating much of Oregon's northern boundary with Washington, while the Snake River delineates much of its eastern boundary with Idaho.
