I still remember an episode where Tommy (Willie Aames) - who was underage - was trying to get beer delivered. He was in brother David's apartment with his (also underage) friend. The scheme was that the delivery man would come with the beer, and Tommy would pretend to be his friend's father in the shower.

Willie Aames had a 5 season run on Charles In Charge which kept him in the public eye longer than any other cast member. After that ended, though, he quickly joined the EIE unemployment line and had to slum it as Bibleman to get work.
May 17, 2023 8:04 PM. When you think about it, they did keep the most talented cast members from the first season. Julie Piekarski was particularly bad. Even Molly Ringwald was lackluster, though I will admit they didn't give her much to do at all. And Nancy McKeon was probably more talented than the lot of them.

The first one that came to mind was Willie "Tommy" Aames. You can add Grant Goodeve, Anson Williams and Ted McGinley to the list.
