The highway follows Moorman Road from KY 1230 (Lower River Road) east to US 31W and US 60 (Dixie Highway) just south of the U.S. Highways' interchange with KY 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway).
Kentucky Route 3182 is a 3.787-mile-long (6.095 km) rural secondary highway in south central Butler County. The highway begins at KY 79 (Russellville Road) north of Dimple. KY 3182 heads east along Richland Church Road and crosses Little Muddy Creek, a tributary of the Barren River, at its confluence with Richland Creek.
