Joaquin Miller Park is a large open space park in the Oakland Hills owned and operated by the city of Oakland, California.It is named after early California writer and poet Joaquin Miller, who bought the land in the 1880s, naming it "The Hights" [sic], and lived in the house preserved as the Joaquin Miller House.

Robert Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve is located in the Oakland Hills of the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, California. [1] The park is part of the East Bay Regional Parks District (EBRPD), covers 928 acres (3.76 km 2), and lies east of Oakland, partly in Alameda County and partly in Contra Costa County.
The park is a thin stretch snaking for three blocks from Hudson to Clarke streets and running parallel to Claremont Avenue, in Oakland, California. [2] [10] [11] [12] It consists of the Hardy Park on its northern edge, the Redondo Park on its southern edge, and a greenbelt connecting the two.
The entrance to the park was through the shoe illustrating the Old Woman in the Shoe. The entrance through the shoe was sized for children, so that adults had to bend over to go through. The park thrived, and in 1956, the City of Oakland Parks and Recreation Department hired Burton Weber to promote the wonders inside Fairyland’s gates.
Preservation Park is located in Oakland, California. The park includes sixteen historic buildings, five of which stand in their original location, and eleven of which were moved from elsewhere in Oakland to avoid demolition.
