Tuy Hoa Airport (IATA: TBB, ICAO: VVTH) is located just south of Tuy Hòa within the Phú Yên province, along the central coast of southern Vietnam. It was built in 1966 for the United States Air Force as Tuy Hoa Air Base. It was used by the U.S. Air Force (1966–70) and U.S. Army (1970-71), during the Vietnam War.
Cam Ranh is the only airport in Vietnam that handles more international passengers than domestic passengers, with international passengers accounting for 70% in 2018. [2] Cam Ranh Terminal 1 is used for domestic flights and Cam Ranh Terminal 2 (managed by Cam Ranh International Terminal (CRTC) JSC) is used for international flights.
At 650 hectares, Noi Bai is the second-largest airport in Vietnam, behind the 800 hectare Tan Son Nhat International Airport. Terminal 1, completed in 2001, used to be the sole terminal handling both domestic and international flights. However, with the opening of the second terminal, it is now reassigned to handle domestic flights only.
