I have new device and I cannot access https://web.mail.mil. I can access other sites requiring smart card log on; but the web.mail.mil will not work. I have tried the standard option of changing the internet options and TSL settings. I have tied in IE, EDGE and Firefox
Do you have a mailbox for the MIL address? If it was just issued, confirm it with the email admin - it may not be fully provisioned yet. I've only logged into my __.mil@mail.mil account once in my life, forgot about it, and got locked out. I also use 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as my DNS sources. The only report that I have to work with is from the email troubleshooter in WHM that shows my email trying to reach out to the various army.mil and us.af.mil email servers but that is it. It goes for about 15 minutes than stops trying but all the server IPs are shown that eemsg provides.
militarycac.com is the only way. It is mundane and tedious for the less tech savvy, but the only way. Then once you have it working, don't use said computer for anything but the most basic of web surfing and mil mail. There is just NO WAY anyone is going to get your computer working from this forum.
Thanks for the info ! Still not working for me as I go to “Account” and see “Incoming Mail Server” and under that “Host Name”. What’s there is “imap-mail.outlook.com”. I tried your change suggestion in a couple of different ways but none worked. Maybe it’s an Apple Mail
