Esenciales: Sol is a CD compilation album (seventeenth overall) by the Latin American Mexican rock band Maná. It is one of three greatest hits compilation albums, along with Esenciales: Eclipse and Esenciales: Luna , with remastered versions of all their best-known songs.
This compilation includes their greatest hits, combining songs from Sol and Luna (hence the name "Eclipse") and adding Eres Mi Religión which is not included in either Sol or Luna. Maná's Esenciales: Eclipse includes songs such as Vivir Sin Aire, Oye Mi Amor, Cómo Te Deseo, En El Muelle de San Blas and an unreleased song, Te Llevaré Al Cielo.
This album is a collection of their greatest hits along with Eclipse and Sol. Maná's Esenciales: Luna includes an unreleased song, Te Llevaré Al Cielo, and a bonus track "Celoso" from the movie soundtrack album "My Family (Mi Familia)". Their music videos for the songs En el Muelle de San Blas and Vivir Sin Aire (live) are included in the CD.

The album had sold almost 500,000 copies worldwide by 1993, [2] and following their 1994 breakthrough in the United States, Falta Amor had sold 186,000 copies in the country by 2011. Includes the well-known single Rayando El Sol. [ 3 ]

"Te llevaré al cielo" (English: I'll take you to Heaven) is the only single released from Maná's compilation album, Esenciales: Luna (2003). This single was released in promotion of their three CD set compilation albums: The Esenciales: Esenciales: Luna, Esenciales: Sol and Esenciales: Eclipse.
