Each year, first and second-place winners from the school-hosted science fair are selected to attend the Fairfax County Science and Engineering Fair. The Fairfax County Science and Engineering Fair is an International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF)-affiliated fair, sending around ten projects each year to the international fair. [24]
The Expo featured interactive hands-on science activities presented by over 550 U.S. science and engineering organizations.
