The Stax Museum on McLemore Avenue in Memphis, founded in 2003, is a replica of the Stax studio, built on the same site where many of the historic Stax recording sessions took place. The original Stax studio was demolished in 1989. In 1967 Stax was at the height of its fame. [3]

Lichterman Nature Center is a certified arboretum and nature center located in East Memphis, Tennessee. [1] It has many outdoor and indoor animal exhibits, as well as several activities and events. The Lichterman Nature Center is one of the facilities within the Pink Palace Family of Museums .
The facility consists of 29 galleries, art classrooms, a print study room with over 4,500 works of art on paper, a research library with over 5,000 volumes, and an auditorium. The collection has over ten thousand works of art, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, and examples of the decorative arts.

A large number of Roesen's paintings were discovered in Williamsport. His pictures of nature's abundance found a ready market in the town's growing population (many of German descent) of prosperous merchants and lumbermen, who purchased them to adorn their newly built homes as well as taverns, restaurants, and hotels.
