Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI, also known as Sangokushi 11 (三國志11), is the 11th installment in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms grand strategy game series by Koei. The game was released for the PC on March 17, 2006 in Japan. A Traditional Chinese version was released on July 27 in Taiwan.
The series are based on the romanticized Romance of the Three Kingdoms novel and the historical text Records of the Three Kingdoms, the storyline takes place during the Han dynasty in China with many warring factions that included the Shu Han, Cao Wei and Eastern Wu kingdoms.
In addition to the enhanced story mode, the free-to-play remake also adds an asynchronous player versus player mode and a co-op mode to take over China. The game was available in English, Korean, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Vietnamese. [1] This mobile remake version is ported onto PC via the Steam platform on 25 July 2019. [2]
