Burke Lake is a 218 acres (88 ha) freshwater reservoir in Fairfax Station, Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. It is contained within Burke Lake Park , a Fairfax County public park owned by the Fairfax County Park Authority (FCPA).
Burke Lake Park features an 18-hole par-3 golf course, as well as a driving range and clubhouse. [7] The driving range was renovated in 2017 to, amongst other improvements, have two stories of stalls. Construction of a new clubhouse, which is 4,200 square feet and has dining (Mulligan's Grill), a pro shop, and a patio, was completed the same year.

The state highway serves the park surrounding Burke Lake, then veers north through a partial cloverleaf interchange with SR 286 (Fairfax County Parkway) to the west of Burke Centre. The lake was renamed Lake Accotink. Appointed in November 1961, Joseph Brown became the second director of the Fairfax County Park authority in January 1962.
