Beloit Memorial supports the state's oldest high school newspaper, the monthly Increscent, founded in 1894. [citation needed] It won first place in General Excellence by the Wisconsin Newspaper Association in 2010 and second place in 2009 and 2011. [4] The Increscent publishes an annual humor issue, called the Uncrescent.
Madison Memorial has won eight, Hudson has won six, and Madison East has won four titles. Eighteen different schools have won State championships. Superior is the only program to win three consecutive State titles (1994–96). Superior, Madison Memorial, and Hudson are the only programs to win back-to-back titles.

The 2024–25 RPI Engineers Men's ice hockey season will be the 105th season of play for the program and the 63rd in ECAC Hockey. The Engineers will represent Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season, play their home games at Houston Field House and be coached by Dave Smith in his 7th season.
