Greatest Hits is the first greatest hits album by American singer-songwriter James Taylor, released in November 1976 by Warner Bros. records.It remains Taylor's best-selling album, with over 11 million units being sold in the United States, making it among the best-selling albums of the 1970's.
After recording a limited release holiday album in 2004, Taylor released his first major-release holiday album, James Taylor at Christmas on October 10, 2006. In the US, Live peaked at number 20 on the Billboard 200 chart [5] and has sold more than one million copies, being certified 2× platinum by the RIAA. A single-album CD of highlights of the double album was also released, titled Best Live.
