Sophie Belinda Turner (born 21 February 1996) [2] is an English actress. She made her acting debut as Sansa Stark in the HBO epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), for which she received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019.
Sansa Stark is the second child and the elder of the two daughters born to Lord Eddard Stark and Lady Catelyn Stark, the ruling liege of the North.She was born and raised in Winterfell with an older brother, Robb, a younger sister, Arya, two younger brothers, Bran and Rickon, and an older bastard, half-brother Jon Snow. She returns to Winterfell after Sansa and Jon reclaim the castle anyway, and is present when Sansa and Arya reunite at the fortress, technically fulfilling her oath to Catelyn Stark. She journeys to King's Landing to represent Sansa in the Dragonpit summit and then returns to Winterfell to face the Army of the Dead, reuniting with Jaime Lannister.
