The North Museum of Nature and Science is a museum in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, specialising in natural history, formally part of Franklin & Marshall College.
This district includes seven contributing buildings that were built roughly between 1881 and 1913, including the Baumgardner Brothers Tobacco Warehouse (c. 1881), the Standard Caramel Company Factory (1906), the S.R. Moss Cigar Company (1907), the Otto Eisenlohr Tobacco Warehouse (c. 1907), and the William Levy/Joseph Goldberg/Block Brothers Tobacco Warehouse (c. 1909, c. 1911, c. 1913).
Built in 1898, this historic structure is a three-story, rectangular, red brick building which sits on a stone foundation. It is three bays by four bays and has a shed-type roof. The building was damaged by fire in January 1990, and subsequently restored. It housed a cigar factory and later a toy manufacturer. [2]
