Mohammad Rudy Salahuddin (born 11 July 1969) is an Indonesian politician. He has served as the acting governor of the Gorontalo Province since 17 May 2024. [1] He has also served as the deputy of coordination of digital economy, employment, and micro, small, and medium businesses for the Indonesian Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs since June 2020.

Gorontalo (Gorontaloan: Hulontalo) is a province of Indonesia on the island of Sulawesi.Located on the Minahasa Peninsula, Gorontalo was formerly part of the province of North Sulawesi until its inauguration as a separate province on 5 December 2000.
Provinces have a local government, consisting of a governor (Gubernur) and a regional legislative body (Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Provinsi). The governor and members of local representative bodies are elected by popular vote for five-year terms, but governors can only serve for two terms.

Fadel Muhammad Alhaddar (Arabic: فاضل محمد الهدار, romanized: Fāḍel Muḥammad al-Haddār) is a senator for the Regional Representative Council and was appointed governor of the then-newest Indonesian province, Gorontalo, from 2001–2006. In 2006, he won the first Gorontalo gubernatorial election, making him governor until 2011.
