New Hampshire Route 135 (Elm Street) leads southwest from Lancaster 19 miles (31 km) to the outskirts of Littleton. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the Lancaster CDP has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.2 km 2), of which 3.0 square miles (7.7 km 2) are land and 0.2 square miles (0.5 km 2), or 6.08%, are water. The highway heads east from the bridge into Lancaster along Bridge Street. The Wilder-Holton House is a historic house museum at 226 Main Street in Lancaster, New Hampshire. Built in 1780, this two-story timber-frame house is believed to be the first two-story house built in the area, and to be the oldest surviving house in Coos County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. [1]

Colebrook is a town in Coös County, New Hampshire, United States.The population was 2,084 at the time of the 2020 census, [2] down from 2,301 at the 2010 census. [3] Situated in the Great North Woods Region, it is bounded on the west by the Connecticut River and home to Beaver Brook Falls Natural Area.
