Lietuvos ryto TV is a Lithuanian entertainment channel founded on 12 October 2008. [1] In 2022, all programs started to be broadcasting in the Lithuanian language , considering the fact that half of the Russian programs that were shown were only with subtitles or the other was dubbed.
LRT televizija was launched on 30 April 1957 as LTV (Lietuvos Televizija), by 1960 it was broadcast six days a week [2] and began broadcasting in colour in 1975 using SECAM colour. The channel was rebranded on 27 July 2012 to LRT televizija. [3] Broadcasting in 16:9 format began on 25 March 2013. [4]
In the same year, Baltijos Televizija, founded by the company, started broadcasting. This channel in 1994-1995 shared the same UHF channel (38) as TV Polonia. It was also rebroadcast on TELE-3. Info TV is a Lithuanian news television station owned and operated by LNK. It began to air on 12 November 2007. The channel range includes 97% of Lithuanian television users. Since 5 March 2012, Info TV airs 24/7. On 1 December 2018, the channel started broadcasting in HD, along with the other LNK Group channels - LNK, BTV and TV1.
