Originally named Great Wall Haval H6, it was later renamed the Haval H6 (and redesigned) for the newly developed Haval brand. It is the successor of the Great Wall Pegasus . Since its introduction in 2011, the H6 had once led the SUV segment in China for 103 consecutive months, or around 8 years.

The Great Wall Haval H6, which was introduced in 2011 gained popularity with its competitive price of about 100,000 yuan. Following its success, the Haval name was spun off as a standalone brand in March 2013 with its own logo, making it the second brand from GWM after the original Great Wall brand.

The Haval H1 or formerly the Great Wall Haval M4 is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Chinese manufacturer Great Wall. It was essentially a rebadged and lifted Great Wall Florid , until the second generation which is a rebadged Great Wall Voleex C20R .
The Great Wall Haval H3 complies with the Euro-III emissions standard. [5] It was awarded three stars from C-NCAP crash testing. [6] In the Australasian New Car Assessment Program crash testing undertaken on 24 March 2010, the post-2009 model Haval 3 received a Four Star rating. [7] The Great Wall Haval H3 has not yet been tested by Euro NCAP.
