Blackfoot is an American Southern rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1970. Though they primarily play with a Southern rock style, they are also known as a hard rock act. [ 1 ] The band's classic lineup consisted of guitarist and vocalist Rickey Medlocke , guitarist Charlie Hargrett, bassist Greg T. Walker , and drummer Jackson Spires.
Greg T. Walker (born 8 July 1951) is an American bassist who played with rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd between 1971 and 1972. [1] His main band, named Blackfoot, existed between 1969 and 1985. [2] In 2004 a new line-up was born, with Axe frontman Bobby Barth as their singer/guitarist.

Weorpel has composed songs including all ten tracks on Warp Drive's Compact disk that is titled Gimmie Gimmie. Weorpel left Blackfoot after Medlocke started writing songs in the country genre. Mark Weorpel currently is the lead guitarist for the band Them Pesky Kids. Mark also teaches guitar to students at a variety of skill levels.
