14–16 May 2023. ← 2019. Arnis competitions at the 2023 SEA Games took place at Hall A, Changvar Convention Centre in Phnom Penh from 14 to 16 May 2023. Medals were awarded in 12 events. [1] [2] Cambodia was the first nation other than the Philippines, the sport's country of origin, to hold arnis in the regional meet. [3] [4]
History. Arnis would first feature in the Southeast Asian Games in 1991 as a demonstration sport when the Philippines hosted the regional games. [1] [2] The sport would only be featured occasionally in the Southeast Asian Games when the Philippines is hosting it until 2023 when Cambodia decided to include it their games' calendar. [2]
The official logo and slogan for the 2023 Southeast Asian Games were decided on 2 July 2020 by the 2023 Cambodian SEA Games Organizing Committee and was officially unveiled on 7 August. A design competition for the games' logo was held in 2019 with the final design reportedly consisting of the Angkor Wat and four dragons as its main motifs.

Philippines at the2023 Southeast Asian Games. The Philippines participated at the 32nd Southeast Asian Games which was held from 5 to 16 May 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia . The Philippine delegation finished in 5th place with a final count of 58 gold, 85 silver and 117 bronze medals. [ 1]
