E4 is a British free-to-air public broadcast television channel owned and operated by Channel Four Television Corporation.The "E" stands for entertainment and the channel is primarily aimed at the 16–34 age group (similar to BBC Three, ITV2, 5Star, Sky One, Universal TV, Comedy Central and Dave).
E4 Radio was to be a contemporary music and entertainment service targeted at 15- to 29-year-olds and delivered in the style of the E4 television channel. [6] The proposed content was popular music, entertainment and comedy. The channel would experiment with new talent, ideas and music.

The service would have operated ten radio stations, including Channel 4 Radio, E4 Radio, Sky News Radio, and Radio Disney (in association with Disney). Some of the services, especially Channel 4 Radio and E4 Radio, would have competed directly with national BBC Radio stations. Podcast and text services were also to have been provided. [27]
Channel 4 Radio was a radio brand in the United Kingdom, launched by Channel Four Television Corporation in January 2007. [1] On 11 October 2008 its closure was announced. [ 2 ] It incorporated Oneword , in which Channel 4 purchased a 51% share in 2005, although it relinquished this share to co-owner UBC Media in January 2008.
