Most of the time, people will give Mike or Frank a very high price and they'll tell them, "That's a retail price, there's no money to be made here." 1) eBay auctions have a fixed end time. Deal with it. 2) Snipe programs/services do NOT counter-bid. They ONLY bid an amount specified by the user near the end of the auction. 3) If you had been paying attention over the past 17 years, you would know it’s not necessary to counter-bid.
eBay's policies assume that all Post Offices observe the official USPS policy that all packges will get scanned at their post office of origin. I get great service, I can drop off my items in the local "blue box" mail box and have 2 or 3 scans before midnight.
