Leighton Marissa Meester (/ ˈ l eɪ t ən / LAY-tən; [1] born April 9, 1986) [2] is an American actress, singer, and model. Leighton is known for her starring role as Blair Waldorf on the CW TV show Gossip Girl, which ran from 2007 to 2012.
