Big Cypress Tree State Park is a state park in Weakley County, Tennessee, located in the Southeastern United States. The park is named after a large and old bald cypress tree that once stood on the park's grounds. The tree was approximately 1,350 years old when it was killed by lightning in 1976.
Its range includes the Big Cypress National Preserve, Everglades National Park, Florida Panther National Wildlife Refuge, Picayune Strand State Forest, as well as rural communities in the counties of Collier, Hendry, Lee, Miami-Dade, and Monroe County.
Big Cypress National Preserve is adjacent to the reservation. The American rock band Phish held their millennium concert at the reservation from December 30, 1999, to January 1, 2000. With 85,000 people in attendance, it was the earliest and largest sold-out millennium concert.
