Boscov's Inc. is a family-owned department store with fifty locations in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, Connecticut, West Virginia and Rhode Island. Twenty-six of these stores are located in Pennsylvania.
Albert Boscov (September 22, 1929 – February 10, 2017) was an American businessman and philanthropist. He was the long-time head of Boscov's Department Stores and served as the company's chairman and CEO until retiring in 2015. In 2009, Boscov led a buyout of the chain in order to rescue it from bankruptcy.

Boscov's was the only completely new anchor to the Salisbury region, and its 140,000-square-foot (13,000 m 2) store impressed the Salisbury Daily Times: "Certainly the most beautiful store in the area, Boscov's is a fantasy of mirrors and marble, with massive, glittering chandeliers, plush carpeting and soaring display pieces." In April 2022, it was revealed that the Coventry Mall would be redeveloped into The Shoppes at Coventry, with the interior of the mall closed and stores having exterior entrances like in a strip mall, with anchor stores including Boscov's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Gabe's, and Kohl's remaining open. [19]
The mall has over 90 stores and is anchored by Boscov's, Regal Cinemas, and Cooper University Health Care - Moorestown Campus.
