After taking the Underworld's "Bad Book" from Grim, Billy becomes possessed by an evil presence. Then, Billy steals Grim's scythe, and uses it to open a portal to summon Yog-Sothoth. In consequence, Mandy calls for Hoss Delgado to battle Billy. It is revealed that the portal can only be sealed by throwing the book into it.
Evil Con Carne characters occasionally appear on The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. General Skarr was introduced as a recurring character in season 2, where he became Billy's new next-door neighbor. The series originally premiered as segments of Grim & Evil on August 24, 2001. The segments were spun-out into their own series on June 13, 2003 (the 2003-2004 episodes were originally for Grim & Evil), and continued to air until November 9, 2007.
