The ninth season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles aired in 1995. With the turtles' usual enemies Shredder and Krang stuck in Dimension X with no way out following the destruction of the Technodrome, a new villain, Lord Dregg takes their place as the main villain of the series.
Lord Dregg, using a morphing suit capable of instantly draining life-force from others, absorbs the power of five super-beings, and multiplies their combined power a hundred fold, becoming a god. He comes after the Turtles, who must travel to Dimension X and get Krang's android body from the destroyed Technodrome if they are to defeat him. [3]

At the end of Season 8, the TMNT finally banish Shredder, Krang, Bebop, and Rocksteady to Dimension X by destroying the Technodrome's engines and trans-dimensional portal, preventing them from returning to Earth. [9] From Season 9 onwards, Lord Dregg, an evil alien warlord from Dimension X, appeared as the new lead villain.
The Turtles jump into action in downtown New York and pursue the Foot to the streets and the city sewers (then to the Technodrome in the SNES version [4]), where Shredder sends them through a time warp. The Turtles must fight Shredder's army in both the past and the future in order to get home.
They then find Raphael, who has been possessed by Krang One, and seize the key. The Krang then use the key to open the portal and bring forth the Technodrome, launching their invasion of New York City. While April, Splinter, and Casey occupy the Krang forces, the Turtles board the ship.
