Ving was born Lee James Jude Capallero in Philadelphia and grew up in the city's Kensington neighborhood. [1] [7] The Capallero family later moved to the suburbs and Ving attended St. Luke's Elementary School in Glenside as well as St. John of the Cross in Roslyn, before graduating from Abington Senior High School.
